Faculty and staff leads from the Blended Reality project paid a visit in mid-March to HP Labs in Palo Alto. The group toured HP facilities over the course of 2 days, meeting with HP engineers. Seeing HP’s latest work in areas such as 3D printing, immersive experiences and classroom of the future revealed a host of synergies with the work of the Yale teams. Discussions during the tours, and sharing over the visit, opened doors for direct contact between HP engineers and the Blended Reality project teams and will lead to greater overall outcomes for the project.
